Laser Hair Removal
- The handpiece of the LightSheer Diode Laser is pressed gently against the skin, compressing and cooling it at the same time.
- The laser emits an infrared pulse that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize the pigment.
- This process disables numerous follicles at a time, eliminating and/or significantly impeding the hair’s regrowth.
- The special contact-cooling hand-piece protects and cools the upper layer of skin before, during and after each pulse while it directs the laser energy to the hair root. The combination of this aggressive skin cooling and other key laser parameters allow safe and effective treatment of all skin colors.
